I’m going to attempt the Pressed Flowers hat by Amy Christoffers. Fingers crossed youtube can save my ambitious arse 🧶
Oh no. It’s the dreaded mid-knit regret. This is the second attempt with this yarn combination — a really soft worsted wool and a strand of mohair. It’s so squishy and soft but… I can’t imagine wearing the finished product. Hmm. Nevertheless, I shall persevere! 🧶

Finished two drop-stitch scarves recently. 🧶 I love Malabrigo yarn.
I can’t handle much Instagram but I logged on for a bit tonight and it was so cool to see so many guys knitting and crocheting! White, BIPOC, straight, queer, there was an amazing and beautiful variety of menfolk doing the fiber crafts and proudly showing off their yarn-y makes, I love it! :) 🧶

Det känns som att de som gillar att sticka är helt galna i sitt stickande. Det är inte utan att jag blir lite avundsjuk på de som har en hobby som de älskar så mycket. Det verkar också väldigt mysigt att sticka. Jag kan tänka mig ett sånt här rum hemma om jag bara kunde uppskatta själva stickandet 🧶
Fridays are long. They start with an early train so I can get some of my sermon writing done before a day in the classroom for my training course. Then another hour or so of writing before getting the train home. Enjoying making some socks and watching a film with my wife. 🧶
