Another enjoyable feature for the public beta - auto-detected duplicates! They’re not identifying exact dupes, eg sometimes I do multiple takes that are not quite exact but are meaningful enough for me, but the thought is still there. Photos take up a majority of my store. This will help.

@bapsi It’s a little bittersweet to see the solutions of smaller app companies get imitated and rolled into an Apple product’s offerings. Apple’s recently launched Journal implementing many of the once unique features of Day One comes to mind too.

Re the iOS18 beta, some screens like the Monthly take getting used to, but I love the new Calendar look. I have to point out, though that some of these aesthetic decisions look very similar to what Fantastical had cooking years ago.

@manton Oh totally! I did appreciate the playful toy angle for the Specs in the age of surveillance paranoia. It was definitely one of the obnoxious things about Google Glass users back in the day.
