@jw Hey there. Iā€™m sorry I didnā€™t get to spend more time hanging out at XOXO, but Iā€™m glad I got to see you at least once. I like the Tacoma CSS idea. I imagine a fun little community around that.

Favorite aunt points secured! My nephew is truly psyched to have the Playdate I bought at #xoxofest. šŸŽ‰ (Even my dad is curious.)

A fun way to celebrate the last evening before school starts. On his first-day questionnaire, he listed ā€œcodingā€ is at the top of his top five things he wants to learn.

I ended up with the Eldest Attendee badge. I thought Iā€™d find an eligible recipient at the karaoke party, but I guess everyone older than me went home to bed. So I did too.

Last #xoxofest. šŸ˜ Thanks @andymcmillan@xoxo.zone and @andybaio@xoxo.zone. Life-changing inspiration, generously shared by all.

I havenā€™t been able to hang out at XOXO as much as I had planned, but I did manage to buy a Playdate at the Arcade the first night. This will be going to my nephew, who loves to make games. Iā€™m always looking for an edge in the favorite aunt sweepstakes. (Not that itā€™s a competitionā€¦)

@xxxx They still have PDX Carpet 2.0 (the design that replaced the original iconic carpet), including fresh new carpet with the 2.0 design.

The coolest thing is the arrivals all come through the same huge portal, instead of being split between ABC and DE concourses. Itā€™s way nicer to wait for someone.

@pkboi Exactly. I was so excited to see them, I didnā€™t mind that it was through the car window. The action was pretty low key. It seemed more friendly than aggressive, almost like a practice session. But Iā€™m not an elk, or an animal behavior expert, so I really have no idea.

Not my best photos in terms of composition (car-tography has its limits), but the subject matter was A+++.

On my way home this morning from the beach, I came across two pairs of elk locking horns in someoneā€™s front yard. šŸ˜®

Evidence of a tiny leak in my right boot. I ordered a new pair. They are my most favorite footwear right now. Iā€™m going to guess that they are not rated for long stints immersed in seawater. I will be careful to rinse them daily.
