@teisam My understanding is that you were not able to get access to it. Or any other data "locked" on your device.
I still have done the move, and I like it a lot. Just need to figure out a "backup" plan as well.

@teisam I can't find the link now, but there was a recent icloud issue where lots of people where locked out of their account. And you couldn't even use "anything" on your devices since you had to verify your password before getting access to your stuff again.
@teisam The first one. Where you couldn’t even access those locally. Since you first would have to log into iCloud. Which failed, always.
@canion And if it works for you go for it.
I was tired of all the situations where it failed.
I accessed 1Password at least 100 times a day. Of those times it would fail at least 20-30.
And it used to be never.

Earlier this week we accepted a bid on our old house.
It’s a relief to stop worrying about the cost of two mortgages and the upkeep of both houses.
But more importantly, we can now concentrate on making this house our home.

The payment reminder for 1Password, led to me updating my 1Password billing from yearly to monthly.
The transition over to Passwords on iOS 18 has begun.
15 years of 1Password will come to an end.

There’s an Apple event today. All about iPads. Since I’m in need of a new iPad, I’m looking forward to this.
The rumours says there is no new regular iPads though, and that’s all I’m in the marked for.
Can they convince me of looking to a more expensive model?

Moving to a new house means a new school for my kids.
Today is their first regular day at the new school.
My daughter is excited, my son has anxiety.
It hurts to see him like this. It will be hard to focus on work today.
Everything is less chaos than one week ago. Less moving boxes helps.
There are outbreaks of home sickness from time to time, and regret.
I might be the only member of the family who likes the move right now.

On Sunday me and my wife have been together for 20 years.
Buying an apartment, getting married, buying a house and having three kids all happened.
Today we move into a new house. Where we will grow old together.
And thus the next chapter of our life begins.
The whole family took a trip to the new house today. Walked around, stopping at local cafes for a pause.
Can’t wait until we get the new house on Monday.
