Whoa! Our elderly neighbor passed away two weeks ago when she was in Mexico on vacation. We learned only today when we saw her kids clearing out her house. She used to travel often so long absences were not uncommon. She wasn’t that old and was spritely and friendly.
@gdp I totally get it. Change is better when done incrementally. Hence, Obama chose Biden as his running mate. Also, Kamala and Pete may mean too much star power, and you don't want the VP to overshadow the top of the ticket. I think it's gonna be Cooper or Kelly to secure their states. Maybe Shapiro if they see PA as shaky.

A great address by President Biden on his decision to not seek a second term. His hand may have been forced but you cannot deny his humility in accepting his fate. I’m especially glad that he acknowledged him being the first person to stutter to become President. Now it’s up to us to keep the republic.

Of course, they don't offer any solution for how that will happen. So currently, her nomination is being managed and rolled out slowly.
