I just came across my Corel Linux Tux toy in a corner at work. A blast from the past as I got it with the CDROMs to install the distro if I remember correctly.
@the Sadly, RIP. Still, judging by the few minutes in which I had to install Windows on the PC in order to disable safe boot and wipe the drive while installing Linux, macOS is not quite at Windowsā level of annoyances. Yet.
@BestofTimes Yes, interoperating with iOS is what I think will be the most tricky thing. While there are some āopenā smart phones, they seem to be at an early stage, and some require the use of Googleās store. I want that even less!

You know those āSite Safetyā boards reading āNumber of days since last accidentā? I think I need one of those for sewing which reads āNumber of days since all the pins spilled on the carpetā. Current count: 0. Perhaps also, āNumber of days without a sewing machine needle breakingā (also 0).
@Ozzie48 I've just read back my reply to you and it sounded to me like typical 'Reply Guy' behaviour, even though I am not a guy! So sorry about that. I know how painful conditions like arthritis can be, so I am sure that I was glibly suggesting solutions that you didn't ask for, and that you have probably already tried and don't work well for you.
@Ozzie48 Maybe you need a keyboard with easier access to Emacs chords? I have home row modifiers, so no Emacs pinkie for me!

@crossingthethreshold yeah, the Marmite version is much better (and has a bit less salt, since ordinary peanut butter tends to have salt in already).
@crossingthethreshold That is my absolute favourite, and I have to restrict myself to eating it once a week, or it would be ALL I eat š. I used to DIY mix my own before Marmite started making it.
@jeremycherfas Yep, I love it! Really it just replaces the need to treadle with your feet so that you can focus on drafting the fleece into yarn. I would love a treadle wheel but I just donāt have the space to store or use one. That was my main reason for getting an e-spinner.
Such a good morning: I spun my first 30g or so of Jacob fleece on my new Electric Eel Wheel 6.1 e-spinner, listening to May Day/Beltane themed folk music by Lisa Knapp, Goblin Band and others. Bliss. #handspun #spinning

@jean Thanks! Itās not every time, but it has happened several times in this challenge so far. It gets a bit irritating. I think it has happened when posting from the web interface, iOS app and macOS app, so Iām not sure itās a problem with a particular app, if thatās any help.
