Firing up my micro.blog again has confused things a bit around here. Where do the little posts go, on daily.baty.net or on Micro.blog? Most, but not all, of the time, I want both, so I've dusted off the micro.blog specific RSS feed here and will pull that into micro.blog. Let's see how that feels
It’s a relatively minor thing, but uneven frame spacing bothers me. This is a sample from the Canonet, which I am going to retire for real this time. Not only because of the spacing issue, but that’s part of it.
I waffle between Capture One and Lightroom. I’m not an Adobe hater by default, but this is the sort of thing that puts me right off. It showed up as soon as I launched it on my phone. “Goodbye Distractions” my butt.
Photo from my station at last week’s sewing class. We made pillowcases. The next class is Monday and I need to go buy fabric. We’re making a drawstring pouch. I’m still giddy that last week’s project turned out OK. Making things is neat.
@jsonbecker +💯 I only wish the "Referer"[sic] header was as prominent as it used to be, but it's often removed for privacy concerns. Cowards! 😆
My iPhone fired off a few photos while in the pocket of my shorts. It’s kinda cool.
@B_Banzai I've been dormant on Micro.blog for almost a year, which probably explains it. I'm still trying to work out where it all fits. Part of me wants to avoid all timelines, but I struggle with that. M.B might end up as an aggregating/reposting mechanism. We'll see. Happy to see you here, though!
Still getting used to Nick Cave in a good mood, but I love this record.

@velocykel Mostly quotes, yes. I've tried building a system of info/notes with cards, but sometimes get lost in them. I do love index cards, though.

@jacks Yeah, it's a fun book! The quote image is done using readwise (subscription readwise.io). Readwise sends me a selection of my book highlights every day and clicking "Share" makes the images for me. That alone (almost) makes it worth paying for :).
