@Gabz Definitely! Going back a bit now, but my first cassettes were Blondieโ€™s Plastic Letters and Ian Duryโ€™s Do It Yourself. Probably 1979. I became a big fan of cassette in preference to vinyl throughout my student years ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

@maique I really like the look of the images so keep posting! Going to have to take a peek at the preset ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜Š

@odd Unfortunately not! I was there for all of last week and left early morning Friday, the day after he arrived ๐Ÿ˜•

@maique My father-in-law went on one yesterday but didnโ€™t use the slide ๐Ÿ˜‚ And my nephews and son were jumping off the cliffs this afternoon from the side you took the photo from. Coincidences!

@maique We had a great time! Four elderly relatives with us so there were limits as to what we could do, but enjoyed good food, sea and sand ๐Ÿ˜

@maique And that cove looks incredibly like Cala en Bosc, where weโ€™ve been staying!

@maique Enjoy Menorca ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ

Weโ€™ve just spent a week here on a big family holiday (14 of us!) - leaving tomorrow morning ๐Ÿ˜ข

@antonzuiker Some big fans out there - of football and Wikipedia!

@Burk And we learn that most people pick prime numbers!?

@pratik They managed it ๐Ÿซค

@pratik Definitely! I think South Africa will struggle to reach that total.

@toddgrotenhuis I think you need to go to the Threads.net Settings -> Account -> Website Permissions and accept the Micro.blog Invitation.

That cleared the error for me.

@manton Would like to try cross-posting - my Threads username is thedimpause

@odd I heard a radio program mention the book last week and wanted to read it. Have also been watching some YouTube music videos ๐Ÿ˜Š

@pratik Really good match - I was glued to it until the end!

@Munish But the rain has returned with a vengeance ๐Ÿ˜”

@JimRain Superb! I learnt a lot about Aneurin Bevan that I did't know and really enjoyed the production and the performances of the cast.

@writingslowly What electoral fraud? And any evidence of fraud that I have seen mentioned with any evidence has been related to postal voting rather than in person.

A total of 9 cases of alleged personation fraud were recorded by police forces in 2023.

(that was 2 in person, 6 postal and 1 proxy)

@odd No, not for us, now all voters definitely need a valid form of photo ID for most UK elections.

@ridwan Yes, me too. I'm sure the turnout for these local elections would be disappointingly low, even without any extra barriers to the ease of voting ๐Ÿค”

@adam Definitely should have kept hold of the land rights!

@numericcitizen I've used the ApolloOne image viewer for this sort of thing. But only the free version - it also has two subscription tiers and reasonable perpetual licenses, plus a free 14 day Pro trial. I've not needed it enough to buy the full version ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
