I took a solo trip up north today and climbed East Osceola. I was at the lot by 7:30 and back at the car by 11. It was steep with boulders for the last third but I made it. The rain started just as I got back to the car.
I downloaded the first VisionOS 2 beta and even though there aren’t dramatic changes, the little quality of life improvements like re-arranging home screen icons and new hand gestures for the home screen are great. The ability to change any photo into a Spatial photo is magical.

After you sign in the music plays in the web browser instead of the Apple Music app. 👎👎

@caseyliss In panorama adjacent news, if you take a 180 degree panorama with a DJI drone and add it to your iCloud Photo library it will have the special panorama viewer in Apple Vision Pro.
@caseyliss Not sure if you have used your drone to take 360 degree panorama pictures, but I was curious to know if you can view those on Apple Vision Pro. Here is an example I took if you don't have one, keegsands.org/misc/autu... . Might require WebVR turned on.
micro.keegsands.org@manton weird I recently had an issue where my Wordle stats disappeared. I still use an OG version I host and it stores in LocalStorage. Wonder if it was the same thing. I was able to back into my stats and update it via Safari dev tools.

@Omrrc Oh yeah things are different on macOS. The weird part is some of my playlists have the song total and duration, while others don't. I can't tell why it shows for some and not others. I created a new one, added a few songs and it showed at the top. Very strange.
@Omrrc I am seeing it at the bottom of the playlist in Apple Music for iOS 17 although it would be better at the top.
After updating my MacBook Pro to macOS Sonoma, I noticed the control center and clock would go missing from the right side of the menu bar after using it with a Studio Display. I was able to get them back by opening Activity Monitor and quitting ControlCenter.

We spent a week in the Adirondacks and had a lovely time. The house we rented was on Fern Lake, about 30 minutes southwest of Plattsburgh.

@pimoore I think focus modes are great, I am just more annoyed that Apple kept bugging me about it. It also didn’t help that by default it seems to have turned off a bunch of stuff 🤷

@help I just noticed that too. I have a post on 6/15 that shows up, but one from a week later does not. Looks like GET /posts/[username]/photos is missing stuff after 6/15, but username.micro.blog/photos/in... does return back all the photo posts. Since the Sunlit source code was available I was able to debug locally and step through to see what endpoint was being hit. Super cool. Thanks!
@keegsands I am from Massachusetts and we have been up to the Canadian maritimes every couple years and it never disappoints. We have found so many amazing spots from Saint John, NB to Halifax, NS and all the little places in between.
