On iOS, you can set Tailscale to automatically turn on when you leave your WiFi network. This allows me to still use Pi-hole away from home.

Overcast has been deleting episodes at random. How funny that it just happened to ATP while I was listening to it.
Put together a Raspberry Pi 5 and installed Pi Hole and have it up and running in about 30 minutes. Neat.
My Firewalla died after less than two years. I was gambling on the high upfront cost hoping that over time it would be more economical to SaaS options. I lost. While I did love it while it was working, I cannot recommend that anyone buy one unless you’re prepared to buy a new one every couple years.
At least once a month, Microsoft Teams tells me that the app is damaged and must be moved to the trash and I have to do a fresh install each time. Microsoft is awesome.

Microsoft is replacing their Remote Desktop app with an app called Windows App and it still doesn’t have a tabbed mode. C’mon, Microsoft, tabbed RDP connections have existed in other apps for years.

I don’t understand all the hate for the new version of Overcast. I have a couple of minor quibbles, but I think it’s a good update. That being said, Marco’s attitude towards customers in the last couple of ATP episodes feels quite dismissive and condescending.

@manton i think there's a bug with the iOS app where the Remove button doesn't work on the Image Options screen. This makes removing an image from a new post impossible. I had to save the post as a draft to get back to a clean New Post screen.

@mindofaaronw I don't know if it still is $5 a month, but one of the features I miss from it is newsletter subscriptions. They give you an email address to use and it then Newsletters show up in your feed as well.

@Denny yeah, but optimize battery charging has existed for years. The change in iOS 17 is what is annoying me.
